Decanted +6H. Paired alongside a slow cooked Bolognese sauce over Pappardelle. Merry Christmas 2022 to everyone. 🎄

Pours viscous in the glass, almost the color and weight of Porto. Nose has menthol, cherries, faint barrel funk 👍; Palate has black cherry compote, faint cinnamon, medium+ tannins. Drink future bottles 2032-37, seriously.

After 30 minutes in a decanter it opened wide!! Very balanced with great acid. Paired beautifully with beef carpaccio fontuda.

Very disappointing.

Wonderfully earthy on the nose and the palette. Lots of tannic structure; still very young but enjoyable nevertheless.

Six hours and quadruple decanted and it's brilliant

It thought this was going to be better. This is likely my lack of knowledge of Italian wine

Beautiful, pretty tar and leather on nose with some flowers, intense yet silky and deelish

I thought this was outstanding paired with dry aged NY steaks. You get a high alcohol whiff on the nose but the entry is silky and round, great mouthfeel, dark/red fruits burst from the glass. A really impressive Sangiovese.
