Very well balanced Bordeaux blend. Very drinkable and delightful with grilled ribeyes followed by brownies. Tanis were subtle, but the wine wasn’t at all thin or weak. For an impressive introductory Bordeaux under $20, get some at Trader Joe’s while it last. UPDATE: TJs is no longer carrying this wine. Whatever stock they had was cleaned out after an Instagram post. Most Margaux wines are at least $30 and up to several hundred dollars. At $14.99 a bottle, this will be missed. RIP.

Taste: simple, but elegant and well made. Medium weight. Bitter olive, restrained tannins that linger and turn into green herbs (oregano? And others). Restrained sweet vanilla (almost like banana). The red fruit is in the background. This is good. 90.
