This was the only kind of stand out at a tiny hole in the wall LQ store. With all the usual commercial brands I chose this one out of desperation. Not a bad find for the price. Had good standard GSM notes. Slight chill was helpful. Surprisingly balanced.

tangy and flavorful! puckered my lips at first but delicious and drinkable on its own. notes of cherry and dark chocolate. great for the price! ($10)

Big jammy red fruit. Pepper, leather, cured meat. M+ intensity, full body, M+acid; M+ soft tannins, M+ finish. 14% alcohol. Overall very good balance. 2015 vintage - drinking its prime. A good wine but a little new world overly powerful for me. Out performs its $12.99 price tag.

Lucious Barossa Valley blend. Deep ruby color and berry flavor. Enhanced the flavor of a steak, potatoes, chocolate or any other food. Nice nose. 2015 vintage drank in 2020. Just enough time for the tannins to soften.

Really disliked it with my first glass... 2 days later tried it again and am thoroughly enjoying it. It went from really acidic to light but flavorful and quite good.

Appearance: Bold red with hint of brown.
Nose: Dark fruits, subtle oak, alcohol, dark chocolate.
Palate: Not as fruity as thought but does have an almost sweet start when you drink it with a bitter dry end. No acidity, with light-medium body. Good tannins.

This was given to us by a kind store owner after they had a tasting. Tomi liked this a fair amount more than the Shiraz he gave us, I thought it was close. Free wine somehow tastes better except when it comes in a bucket, for some reason.
