Probably a 9 for price quality ratio - great value in this Barbaresco, slightly on the acidic side. Had it with raw tapinanbour and bagna cauda tonight. Seamless matching

Full bodied, intense and very elegant, with scents of Violet, Strawberry, Vanilla.
Ruby red to Garnet shade, Rich, Generous in the mouth, light vein of Tannins and long finish.

Better with food—we had an Italian lentil soup, started with burrata and spicy capicola.

Great value for an 11 year old barbaresco that is only 20 bucks. That said, this is ONLY a food wine. Currant and earth and tobacco give way to a lighter, semi sweet chocolate, finish than I was hoping for. Acid has overtaken tannin. Drink now. Def recommend trying but not buying for long term.
