Grilled NY strip night in Oregon. Big fruit, black currant and licorice, sweet tannins. Really enjoyed this with the steak. Ready to drink, no waiting on this.

Surprisingly old school nose for an 09,
Cork was great,
14.7 abv, but couldn’t tell by the nose.
Reminds of an old Heitz or Ridge .
My first Barrett, needs an hour or 2 to come around, got a 2010 Mag, now I know not to open for awhile.
