Solid Brunello de Montalcino. Drinking a little young. Developed after a little air but needs at least a few more years before its showing any real complexity.

The ratings and notes on this wine were surprisingly low. I decanted the wine for a little over an hour and a half and thought it showed very well. Not necessarily the most complex Brunello, but a good value, fruit, and tanins. I bought it from Weygandt in D.C. on a whim and will definitely be going back for more. February 6th, 2019
