Great wine! Totally forgot to record my tasting notes, but it was one of my favorites of the 12 and 13s from Beau Vigne.

This wine has all the core components that we love.
The nose is dense and multi layered with jam and barrel toast. The palette is extracted to the max. Tannins are rather course, and will enable longevity. Succulent dark fruits, cassis and a hint of cloves bring up the rear. This has "born in Napa" written all over it.
@Martin G Rivard take a bow - thank you so much, AGAIN!

Big and rich this wine bursts with fruit - blueberry and blackberry - and vanilla. It literally coats your mouth. Well-rounded with tannins that will let this age well (if you can keep your hands off it). @Martin G Rivard - I LOVE this wine. Thank you for sharing this and introducing me to such a great producer.

Red fruit bomb. I didn’t get the heat others here comment on but this was definitely not subtle!

Wow oh wow. Inspired by @Ron R and his Romeo pull, I thought I might bring the Juliet to the party

Respectfully, I must disagree with the label's suggestion that this is a "romantic blend". To me, a romantic type wine would be elegant, refined and perhaps just a bit austere. Then again, who am I to know what romance is? Perhaps it is, indeed, like this cuvée: full throttle, pedal to the medal, over the top voluptuousness.

From the first sip, the heat hits you and doesn't stop. Blind, I would have called this Australian for sure. Jammy in a pleasant fashion with persistent finish. The nose was a touch lacking, but on the other end, the tannins were refined and already nicely integrated.

Thanks again to
@Martin G Rivard for putting me on to this!
