Beaulieu Vineyard
Private Reserve Georges de Latour Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Still wonderfully complex and interesting. Didn't need decanting - this wine is at it's prime. Drink up!

Apr 17th, 2014Happy Anniversary to us! A few more years than this bottle. Still kickass after 20 years! Scents of plum and eucalyptus morphing into cranberry, leather and dried herbs. One of our favorites and will be perfect with another rock star, foie gras!

Sep 29th, 2018DeLatour vertical for the Birthday Boy! All three had sticky corks and 2 broke, but showed very well. Rating the 1998 as we agreed it was the best of the three. The ‘99 was sleeker and lighter in body than the other two. Great way to kick off the party. Happy 50th @Chad Anderson 🎂

Dec 30th, 2017Great wine but probably kept it 2 years too long. Fantastic nose of chocolate and coffee which came through on the palate but you could tell it had started to decline a bit. A great investment from about 12 years ago. Perfect for post thanksgiving turkey with friends and family!

Nov 28th, 2015I think this wine has piqued. The fruit is just hanging on. It's the complexity the keeps it going. The tannin/acid balance is the standout. The fruit is pushing into the raisin quality which I don't like. It's still a top notch Napa Cab.
