Generally speaking '11 not a great year for CS in Napa, however the blend of this bottle completely compensates for the '11 challenges. Bottle opened very tight, however after sitting for an hour became more approachable.

Tannins nicely resolved. Eucalyptus, cocoa, baking spice, black licorice minerals, stewed plums, sour dried cherries, milk chocolate. Picking up a long metallic note on finish that I cannot define.

Dark rich, velvety blend. Earthy aromas of plum and figs. Very smooth on the palate, complex tastes of chocolate and blueberries as it opens up. Nice tannins
