Med intensity ruby; mod intense aromas of pepper, red cherry and earth; floral notes in the palate with med+ acidity and mild tannins; some smoke and no vanilla; med body; pleasing finish of fruit and spice. A slightly funky, slightly spicy package of expressive fruit with a little edge.

Juicy front, dry finish. Plummy, silky, and extremely rounded. It hides it's alcohol well at 14.9%. French oak is very evident.

Beautiful deep reddish purple. Smells of rain and dark ripe fruit.
Soft but not delicate in the mouth, finish is dry and leaves me wanting more.
