Lovely Sauvignon Blanc with pan fried salmon ($18). Fresh, bright acidity and a mineral finish. — 2 years ago
Strawberries, slate nose and taste. Nice finish, went very well with Italian herb chicken and veggies. Also wonderful with dark chocolate truffles! — 3 years ago
An old favorite from the Ballard Canyon. Fresh and bright early on. Smooth and layered as it opens up. — 8 months ago
Enjoyed with butternut bisque, baked cod, devils on horseback, lobster ravioli, scallops, shrimp, and banana sticky toffee with vanilla ice cream. — 9 months ago
Inky purple with a bright hue (spilled a drop on the white marble counter). Understated nose of tar and leather with a hint of black fruit. Balanced tannins with blackberry though no brambliness. Agree with another reviewer that Syrah may be an element. Great wine for a Friday night steak on the BGE. — 4 years ago
Very well done. Although a big wine, not overpowering. Sweet, smoky blueberries with a wild touch. Nice savory notes. Young now but has great potential. — 9 months ago
Enjoyed with pork tenderloin ($13). Preferred the Beckmen but this is wonderful given the price ($13) — 3 years ago
Candy like wine an amazingly smooth wine with a perfect balance of fruit. — 4 years ago
pale yellow; subtle aromatics, peach, jasmine, slight musk; stone fruit, minerality, slightly viscous texture; medium to full bodied, surprising acidity for the variety, 14.1% ABV; sourced from their estate Purisima Mountain Vineyard, fermented in stainless steel, aged mostly in steel with small amount in neutral barrel; very refreshing, fresher, brighter style — 5 years ago

Dark red, strong plum nose with some coffee. Taste of plum dominates the palate with medium acid and pleasant finish. Good value — 18 days ago
