Ode to Lucien Mourvedre Blend

Bandol style blend. Well balanced and should drink well for quite a while.

Outstanding Mourvèdre based blend

Appearance: Dark with purple tones and clear
Nose: Violet just a little, and a little more but can't tell what.
Palate: not cabernet cassis and lots of tannins, full bodied, delicious
Opinion: glad I have one more!

I love a Mourvedre heavy GSM. Morgan, you outdid yourself on this one. Bravo.

Ripe fruit up front then briary earthy middle dusty tannin end delightful complexity

Very nice black fruit with a bit of earth. Big taste but not overdone. Nice and complex all the way through.

Let it sit in the glass for two hours which was perfect. Subtle nose of raspberry and cherry. Perfectly integrated with some light tannin after two hours. Nice finish as well. Not powerful like so many other Bedrock reds, but in a good, Rhone Valley way.

I need to find a few bottles of this beautifully crafted unoaked blend. Robust blueberry, raspberry flavors, medium tannins, nice depth and complexity. Nice long silky finish.

Restrained and beautiful. Wonderful expression of ancient vines...
