Same old label. Decent drawing of da Gap. Color is purple with a rose petal edge. Aroma of hot rocks and bricks in the sun. Hint of elder or some other strong berry underneath. Flavors are robust and intense. Black licorice. Bit of red to black berries too. Chewy and dense. This is a beefy Barbera. Different than most Italian ones I’ve had. Reminds me of the foothills style. It’s well done though.
