Showket Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

This run of about 13 PHENOMENAL wines I'm posting are from the SQN wine dinner/WNH interview I did at @Shawn R 's house last night. I was like a kid in a candy store on Christmas. What an absolutely EPIC night! Love ya brother!

This was enjoyed alongside a black forest cherry cake, and it couldn't have been a better duo. I'm a big Bevan fan, and Shawn being the guy he is, knows that and busts this beauty out! Has Bevan all over it. Aromatic and full of mixed berries & cinnamon. Lots of red and black fruits and the sweetness of a cherry jubilee on the crisp and balanced finish. More please!

Jammy and primary. A lot of purity and definitely a crowd pleaser. Lacks depth now.

Complex nose that is difficult to describe. Beautiful presentation on the palete. Pure jam, cinnamon and baking spices. Tannins are prominent with balanced acidity. I'm biased as I love this producer.

165ish cases made and a hard wine to find coming from the Showket Vineyard. In a great place if you have any @Joe Lucca

Best Napa Cab I had in a long time. Dark chocolate and cinnamon spice on the nose, blackberry fruit on the mid-palate with noticeable Tannins on the finish but not overpowering.

Pure perfection.

Wow is all I can say. Bevan is a Master

2008 in magnum. Showing exceptionally well. Dark fruit, cedar, eucalyptus.
