Russell is a good friend and we often joke about how our styles of winemaking are very opposite but hands down...this was mind boggling good - I mean GREAT!!!
Think RMP 101+

Decanted 1+hrs but needs more like 3-4. Grape Now & Laters and lots of alcohol on the nose. Palate contains dark cherries with some herbs. Wine improved vastly with time. Medium depth and finish. Below expectations, but age and a longer decant may change that.

Big bright nose. Tight and huge tannins. Blowed up in your mouth. Huge and a solid 5 course meal all by itself
