Monthly guys group wine meet-up. No theme tonight aside from “it better be good”.
Blueberry pie, bacon fat, milk chocolate on the nose. SMELLS plush and velvet like. Little tannic bite but still retains focus and structure. Some cinnamon and Mexican vanilla on the finish. Hedonistic Napa Cab. This is taking you straight to flavor town. Russell cranks these out with so much power. Some Napa Cabs are meant to age but these are the type that I want to enjoy shortly after release!

Consumed side by side with a Saxum GSM, the Bevan almost isn’t boisterous. Nonetheless this is a big boy, but he’s maturing, subtlety, with age. Plenty of years left on this backbone, but the fruit isn’t what’s out expect from Bevan.
