Monkey 47 Schwarzwald Dry Gin

A great gin. First time I had this was at Eleven Madison Park, and I was impressed. Not sure it’s worth the price but then that’s true for a lot of high end products.

Delicious. Like chewing on a root.

Splendid Gin-Tonic

I bought a 1000ml bottle of this gin and it's nearly gone. Monkey 47, when served with Fever Tree Refreshingly Light Tonic, is a stunningly fresh, lively, complex and intriguing drink - no guest has ever been satisfied with just one. It's a hell of a gin. Aromatic and arresting, the myriad herbs that comprise Monkey 47 each play their note in the orchestra that is this gin. I'm English and I like London gins, and perhaps I'm lacking loyalty by loving this Black Forest beauty, but so be it. This Monkey's Gone to Heaven.

Lemonish and very fresh gin

This is incredible. Just absorbs into your tongue. Zero harshness. 47 botanicals, so yes, it's highly aromatic.

Worth the hype? Dunno for 45 bucks but was really good.

Floral notes on the nose mix with some sort of root. More root less floral on the palate. Strongly flavored and distinct
