New world merlot wrapped up tight in a Right Bank corset. What a stunning wine! Either needs a few more years in the bottle, or at least two hours in a decanter. Either way...elegant fruit, dusty dark chocolate, a breath of licorice and herbs, and a warm woody finish.

Chocolate soaked blueberries, dried currant, hints of leather, Turkish tobacco. Dry and bitey w smooth and grippy tannin, round and filling. Like smoking a Camel Turkish Silver! A fave of the night amongst the somms.
