A delicious blend of mostly Malbec, Merlot & Cabernet Sauvignon. The Malbec initially takes center stage with classic aromas of black cherry, raisin, & sweet tobacco. Full bodied on the pallate but the Merlot definitely mellows the wine as it has medium well integrated tannins along with flavors of blackberry, baking spices & vanilla. aired nicely with NY strip streaks & grilled asparagus! ($20) [6/5/20]

Fairly nice if innocuous- was expecting more from a Rolland project... inky, medium bodied and not quite hi octane, some red & black fruit aromas, prevalent cedary, spicy oak, mingled w/tobacco leaf & some licorice. Also some green notes, but this lacked acidity (and oddly tannins) which made for disjointed mid-palate & finish. Maybe awkward phase? Not concentrated & suave like I expected.

This wine is on fire! Inky purple in the glass. Blackberries on the nose with a touch of cinnamon and maybe a hint of barnyard. Blackberries on the palate with a little oak in the finish. This wine is like being wrapped in a warm blanket. Great with pan-seared pork chops in a mushroom cream sauce.
