Found on a clearance shelf for $7.99. Really not a bad cheap wine. Hints of fruit but not a lot of oak. Paired with chorizo and manchego, of course. Happy find.

Definitely not as good as the tree picos, tastes a lot like a pinot, but still good.

Fuller body, bolder flavor and tanons than a 2010 LAN Rioja Reserva. A good wine. Sweet (possibly added sugar), ripe.

Personal rating scale of about 8/10 compared to 4/10 for the LAN

Really nice wine, upfront taste is amazing, reminds me of apple, an exaggerated lingering dryness due to very strong alcohol content. Overall, very nice wine, really hard to find a better for $8.

Quite drinkable for the price. It was under 30 in a restaurant. Apparently 7-8 bucks retail.
