A 100% Tinta Fino sourced from a single vineyard with vines over 80 years old. Aged for 23 months in new French oak. Deep red almost purple with a big bouquet of black fruits and oak scents. On the palate, blackberry and rich cherry flavors, some cacao spice. Tannins are smooth but took a few minutes to unwind before tasting. Well balanced with a lingering finish ending with mineral characteristics.
