Boekenhoutskloof
The Chocolate Block Cinsault Blend
Franschhoek Valley, Coastal Region, Western Cape, South Africa
Fragrant with Black fruits, cloves and white pepper on the nose and a touch of meatiness. Medium finish. Probably deserved a few more years in the bottle. The alcohol makes its presence felt at the end of the not so long finish. Well integrated tannins albeit slightly low on acidity.

Bold aroma followed by smooth dry earthy grapes. The taste follows with a nice tart hint of salt; kinda like the salty Baja Valle de Guadalupe.
