Musky and floral nose. Deep ruby color. Soft and dark/tobacco and woody spice (cinnamon?) at the front and nice juicy red plum finish that doesn't sit on the tongue too long. Just sweet enough and easy drinking. Medium body. Medium-high tannins. Great on own. Would go well with chicken or duck, I imagine. Would buy again.

Paired nicely with burgers with cheddars jack cheese. Blueberry, cedar, and plum. Are our tasting and smelling notes. I wouldn’t pay more than $11 or $12 for a bottle, but it’s okay.

Smooth, round, dark plum notes. Nice acidity balances out the juiciness. Pairs well with roasts, duck, and fall veggies. Great value.
