Essential Old Vine California Zinfandel Blend

I liked it. Not too heavy or dark. Easy drinker. Good to pair with.

The power of blending very well illustrated here. This is basically a simple wine, tuned in to a very likable blend.

Deep thick plummy nose and color. Nice. Spice and tannins first, even. Berry in the back of throat. Like it.

Nothing special. I've had better. Blends

Very fruit forward and ripe, lacks balance due to muted tannins and acidity.

Good value. One of the better offerings at Costco. Just the right balance of drinkability and price. Slightly dry and sweet.

Michael and I both really like. Has rich fruit notes

Silly and delightful tennis wine. Not much there but doesn't need to be. Balanced.

🍷Letting it breathe a bit does give it a chance to develop.
