Vecina Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Wow! Awesome 2005, needed 2 hours to really express itself. Fabulous Purity, nice mouthfeel. Gorgeous!! Can't get any better! CB 96+

2005 vintage. Decanted for two hours before tasting. Showstopper. Still medium-heavy body after nearly two d's. Moments of Napa chunky(ness) still evident. Color for days. 8.19.23.

First taste as it opened was big and round. Smooth. Dark and complex. Little bit of bell peppers. Very thick and rich. Beautiful wine.

Still a big muscular beast with oakville dust on the nose, blackberry and other dark fruits, leather and chewy tannins

Expected more. Spicy but no depth.

Gorgeous wine, maybe a bit hot on the finish. Unfortunately I grew a bit tired of the taste after a glass or two. Maybe too much extraction on this? Dunno.
