Inky purple in the glass with aromas of blackberry, blueberry, crushed violets, licorice, and smoke. Big and rich black and blue fruits on the palate with good length. Medium+ acidity with prominent tannins of silky texture. Made from Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre sourced from the Fulldraw Vineyard located right behind the estate Booker Vineyard. This is the last vintage of this bottling as in the future this fruit will go into the Oublie cuvée. I love Eric Jensen’s full throttle but not over the top style. 15.1% ABV. $75.

Mar 6th, 2019Deep purple, ripe red and blue fruits, chalk, black currant, black cherry, silky tannins, lingering taste of prunes and cherries. Pretty solid way to end a long week.

Jul 26th, 2019Underwhelmed by this, especially vs. the rest of the night’s lineup. A bit one dimensional and not what I expect from Booker. Admittedly drank it too early, so I’m willing to give it the benefit of the doubt.
