Reserve No. 198 Finger Lakes Riesling

If I blind tasted this I would have guessed an older German Riesling due to the Petrol. The NY acidity is there and while fairly well balanced a little too sweet.

Pear, tart apple, lemon, kiwi, butterscotch and petrol. Good amount of residual sugar nicely balanced by acidity.

Single clone #198. A nod to Dönnhoff. I'm putting this one away for a long time.

Fantastic Riesling. Possibly one of the best I've tasted.

Sweeter than I typically like but balanced. Butterscotch is clear to me!

very Germanic aromatics then a hint of bitterness creeped in. By the glass at North End Grill: could have been the bottle. Would definitely drink again.
