This is a nice Greek table wine from Nothern Greece ( for those of you weak in old history -the birth grounds of Alexander the Great)
I would normally rate it an 8.5, but considering the circumstances this baby ranks a 9.1 for me! I am at Agios Sostis in Mykonos having lunch at Kiki's after my 2 boys Alexander 13 and Konstantine 10 became certified scuba divers!
A testament that food and drink are adjuncts to our daily life and experiences, always biased by the level of the detachment from daily stresses and level of enjoyment we reach!
I will stop here before I go higher and piss-off some of my French friends!

Lots of tannins but lacks structure and body. That said this goes very well served cold with a plate of mixed meat from the grill on a hot sunmer night.

A nice light easy drinking red.
Not a lot of nose.
Dry, med acidity, low tannin, red cherry.
Let it breathe.

It's a decent wine, but just not my kind of wine. A bit too dry for my taste however, I did appreciate it better while having it with food.
