Medium to deep garnet red with bricking on the edges. Notes of dried cherries, light mushrooms and a touch dusty. Very dry with quite a bit of cherries on the palate with a little earthiness and metallic notes in the medium plus finish. Moderate tannins (6.5/10) and medium plus acidity. Medium bodied. Would be interested in the higher level bottlings. Drink now.

A nice red cherry, brown sugar, violet plum, potpourri on the nose. Nice red cherry and leather with dry spices and a savory spice with more floral notes. The finish is acidic but easy going with dried peaches.
