Fantastic CA interpretation of sicily’s juicyfruit. The cherry is there, but A grittier, dusty spaghetti western of a nero d, badass but limber enough to spring into action. Nice lively acid in the 2018. Fox hill vienyards, 30 some yr old. Why isn’t all of CA planted w the nero d?!

Usually love this wine. I think it needs more time to develop. Really good tannin but something woody is kind of not great for me. It is better with food will have to see how this evolves.
