Feb 24th, 2016Medium ruby , showing a little bit of development , slightly brick rim . Quite floral and aromatic at the start , ripe spiced cherry and plum, strawberry jam. Touch of anis . Round and quite sweet in the mouth , ripe spiced plums and strawberry, black tea. Quite nice refreshing acidity and slightly drying tannins . Falls off a bit on the finish , slightly light and short . Overall pretty good though does show a bit of warmth, reasonable complexity . Next day a bit more reserved , shows a deeper more meaty , menthol character , less sweet and better balance and length. Tasted on 15/08/2022
