Medium garnet , wide light garnet rim. Touch volatile at first , high toned summer fruits , but with more time this becomes more focused with porcini, cedar , aromatic black tea , orange rind . On the palate this is really still very fruit driven , with lots of summer fruits , strawberry , blackberry , spiced dark cherries, beef extract , liquorice and dried rose . Balanced acidity and still quite present gritty tannin . This is still showing quite young and fruit driven , enjoyable and really good now , will no doubt have a long life ahead , from now and over the next 10 - 15 years .

Jan 19th, 2025Ruby core and light rim, not looking that mature however. Lots of ripe red fruits , nice spice also , violet notes also. Sweet attack , nice acidity to balance . Shows a bit of the alcohol but I suppose that is part of the vintage .. quite complex and enjoyable . Length is reasonable and the tannins are sweet . I imagine that this though enjoyable now will improve for a further 2-3 years and last at least another 7-9
