By itself probably a good wine but tonight it was trumped by better wines.
I will re-visit soon but at this point I'd recommend to drink up any remaining stash.

One of the best '97 made. Still plenty of acid and red fruit.
All the secondary and tertiary flavors you want from a 20 year old wine.
Even cooler is the price of this wine then and now, absolute steal!

Starting to fall a part. Tannins fully integrated and decent finish. A bit hallow in the mid palate. Dark red fruits, tobacco and dirt.
