Light yellow in color. Hints of stone and mineral as well as pear and green apple. Somewhat floral. Very crisp but short finish. Off dry. Slightly tannic. Very light. Goes well with spicy food.

1 person found it helpfulDec 7th, 2012Golden grey straw color. Lots of steely petroleum on the nose, with tropical floral and a hint of lime. Seemed a bit flat at first, but the acid wakes up as it warms, and the sweet/tart/concentration balance is more refined than most $13 Rieslings. A mineral honey pear note goes throughout, finish is nice and long, and the nose gets wonderfully potent with time and swirling. Good with Indian food. Really fantastic value if you like the aged petroleum Riesling thing.
