Opens with tart currants and an overwhelming Merlot note, almost sour. Blooms in the glass after about 10 minutes, but the Cab never arrives. No tannins, heavy fines. Disappointing.

Meh. Needs some good breathing time before pouring. Too much merlot? Sour note, no noticeable tannins.

Very nicely balanced between subtle fruit and that musty, dry, funky quality so often pronounced in french wines.
