Farrside Pinot Noir
My oh my, my friends in Cali and NZ would love to b able to make this: deliciously complex wine, superficially fruit driven but with marvellous cut of stalk, brambleberry, w a touch of Provence herb. Long, satisfying, ever so slightly "plump" ( by Burgundian standards) however a beautiful new world Pinot.

Jan 29th, 2015I think I confused the app by including the two labels - the 2012 Farrside by Farr. Some earth and funk, but a subtle floral perfume too, interesting, and reasonably long, noice ;)

Mar 9th, 20152012 vintage. Very easy drinking. Plush ripe red fruits especially cherry. Some leather tan. Some oak. Good length. Sweet fruit on finish. Bit simple. But concentration makes it appealing and moreish. Good wine.

Jan 23rd, 2015Delicious. Complex cool blue and red fruit melange w a lovely touch of sappy cut under. Ignore the best Oz Pinot noir at your drinking peril.
