Got to this just in time. Leather notes on the nose. Still has a solid core of black fruits. Lovely texture and balance on the mid-palate. Slightly spicy with black pepper, strawberries and soft brown sugar. Tannins are nicely tucked in. If you like your wines vibrant, drink the 06’s now.

Very young, good fruit. High tannins. Could last another 5 years. We decanted half hour and just opened. This was a 2006 vintage.
