A notch or two finer, more interesting and complex than the Col d'Orcia I had last week. Color more brick. Great half bottle!

Delicate but super complex aromatics: mulled red fruit, woody spice, some awesome minty hints. Could smell it forever. Medium bodied BdM, but great length. A touch hot. Nonetheless, young and tasty for the price

Nose came off steamy and slightly vegetal. Palate was redeeming---great extract with showy fruit.

Wonderfully suave and lovely with pasta in a red sauce. Nice balance and plenty of grip. 2010.

Opened too soon and didn’t decant but should have…still the makings of a very fine wine evident…just too tannic and light to date…needs another 3-5 yrs.

Excellent brunello!! Did not have to decant or wait for it to open up. Fresh delicious and all around enjoyable!!

Lacked concentration...the aromas were there but one had to really reach to smell them...not sure if it is still shut down i suspect this is what you will get either way
