A more than acceptable alternative Nebbiolo from the lesser known northen Piedmonte region of Carema. Light ruby red in color, but very fragrant of flowers, iron, and bright red fruits. The palate is elegant but subtly firm with acidity and the typical Nebbiolo tannin. Great now or over the next 5-7 years. #carema #nebbiolo

High toned, light bodied, impossibly flavorful considering how delicate the wine is. Spiced, fruited, floral &, savory. Love me some Alto Piemonte.

Started out savory leather spice and found more fruit with time and air. Nebbiolo Carema is its own thing for sure. Great aromatics.

Classically Nebbiolo with a rustic charm. Complex nose... black cherries, tar, bright limestone, dried wood, and the aromas of a fresh flower market. Palate is round and juicy with back-end acidity, more than tannin. Red fruit dominates, and the rustic feel persists. Dry finish, with excellent length with cranberries and red raspberry. Opened nicely overall several hours. Will pair well with pastas and game. Co-op producer.

Un nebbiolo dal nord del Piemonte, tipico nel colore e nel corpo ma fine, delicato, gentile, fiori secchi, prugne, spezie, ben bilanciato e godibile fino in fondo nella sua profonda persistenza. la parte alta del Piemonte è da tenere d'occhio perché sforna delle piccole perle
