Dry, slightly funky. Really interesting and affordable Nebbiolo.

Great typical nose and taste. Tannins thankfully softened after 3 hour slow-ox. Dad enjoyed with Korean spread by his non-Korean daughter-in-law

Still tightly knit but slowly starting to unravel. Strawberry preserves, bing cherry, blood orange, rose petal potpourri.

At $37 this is excellent. More classic than modern, but quite ripe with plenty of orange, cherry liqueur, peony and a meagre dash of cocoa. Excellent fruit density, freshness, and focus. Alcohol touches the back end a bit, tannins are ripe and sinewy, firm but not assertive. Great vintage, will be a real steal in 10 years!

Opened this one a few hours before dinner, but still rushed the pony a bit. Time to lay down the rest of the case and wait 5 to 8 years.
