Cantina Zaccagnini
Il Vino Dal Tralcetto Montepulciano d'Abruzzo

Wild berry nose. Slightly tart with prominent tannins on opening that remained prominent after an hour. Palate. Of tart wild berries such as current, gooseberries, underripe cherries with some softening tones of cocoa and clove for a spicy linger. A little unbalanced but would work best as a dinner rather than a sipping wine

Berry forward, complex, full bodied with just a hint of chocolate and oak. Easy drinking but stands up to whatever you're pairing it with. Was the go-to wine for my late grandmother and I see why. I would absolutely drink this again and raise a glass to her.

A bit too bitter for my liking. Jennifer hated it. Thought it tasted like vinegar.

Light, jammy front with a smooth, lightly earthy finish.
