I have some blame myself for drinking a heavy Sicilian wine before trying this one. There were a lot of light and delicate and lovely flavors of violet and cherry and raspberry and things of that nature. The problem is it seem to get overwhelmed with a previous wine and incredibly heavy homemade pizza we were making. Still, a beautiful expression of the grape and very enjoyable as it is.

Rich, dark red fruits. Just what you want from a Barolo! High quality wine that would definitely age well.

Oh #barolo, how I missed thee. Ageworthy wine that still nevertheless is amazing at this young age, loads depth with spice, dried cherry, leather, pepper.
