I could just sit and sniff this wine all night, floral red fruit doesn’t begin to capture the beguiling perfume that is this textbook example of traditional Barolo. It drank well, but needed food to reveal its full glory, as it was simply magnificent with a standing rib roast with a rich jus. It is exactly what I want in a Barolo.
