My kind of coastal cool-climate California #chardonnay. Purchased at the downtown Carmel tasting room. Lemon, green apple, wet limestone aromas. Delicious tension on palate, lemon zest, finishing with a touch of spice. Aged 5 months on 50% new French oak which is beautifully integrated here. The impression is of a slightly richer Chablis. #santaluciahighlands
