Boy did a little age soften this up. Very earth driven nose, mostly meaty forest like smells. Barnyardy hay like scents on the back end. Black olives, dried herbs and spruce smells linger as well. Black currants ,dried cherries and cranberries on the palate. Grippy tannins with high acid make this typical Borolo with excellent finesse.
