Very light and elegant. Paired well with porchetta spiced pork chops — 24 days ago
Really nice Crozes with those pepper and bacon notes you expect but plush black fruit forward too. Quite tight — I got the real experience at 2.5 hours open. — a month ago

11/2025. Full of flavor with a nice finish. Sits well on the palate. Enjoyed with Duck Confit Carbonara at Divino Rosso. — a month ago
Always the most elegant and perfumed and even Burgundian of the La La’s, 06 is gorgeous tonight, open and giving with the oak seamlessly absorbed, wafting layers of cassis, bacon fat, camphor and exotic spices with silky palate and tremendous length. Still young but quite accessible now! — a month ago

Wow, this is spectacular! Plenty of life ahead of it, too. The wine is a very pale brick color. It is fresh and vibrant, but beautifully complex. Red sour cherries, juicy and acidic, leather, mint, a little dust on the rose petals. Medium plus on the tannins. I would love to have this with a lot more age. Should be a great wine for a charcuterie spread, and at $19 I feel like a highway robber.
