Dark ruby coloration with some translucency. On the nose, cherry, ripe plum, hibiscus tea and vanilla. On the palate, very much mirrors the nose, with hints of earth, florals, anise, and has a medium long finish of hibiscus tea, red berry and anise. Tannins are still strong 10 years later but not overpowering.
