Overly sweet red fruit on nose. Almost frosting. Palate is dry and doesn’t make sense with awkward fruity and medicinal notes. Short finish. #casasmith #barbera #washington #ctbucklinwine

Fruit forward but not sweet. Ripe plum and cherry on both the nose and pallet. Savory hints of mushroom, Forrest Floor, rose petals and tar. Very fresh tasting. Great with pizza.

A vanilla bomb. Well made just not to my personal liking.

Typical Barbera characteristics. Nice fruit up front. Subtle finish. Easy to drink (without being underwhelming).

Nose is woodsy and baking spices. Entry is far forward on the palate. Slightly earthy to go along with raspberry and blackberry notes. Maybe a touch of cedar. Finish is long, as one would expect of Barbera.

Good "weeknight wine", pairing very well with Italian flavors of tomato, garlic, onion, and oregano. Nice pizza/pasta wine.
