Barolo Nebbiolo

Beautiful all the way through, aromatics evolve into amazing florals within a couple of hours of opening.

Needs a few hours.

Haven’t had Cascina Fontana before and glad I got to try it - very nice. It’s been a bit since I’ve had a wine with good age - for some reason we have had a lot of younger wine of late. Good reminder of the potential. Still majority primary but some secondary present too. Earth and tobacco but great fruit expression. Excellent acid. Pitch perfect pairing with veal Marsala at Carbone.

Bouche idem et un peu fuyante
Pas le millesime du siècle mais décevant tout de même

Nez cerise confite prune cacao réglisse avec des arômes pouvant non amener vers banyuls
Bouche ronde avec une finale sans sucre mais sans complexité

Good, not great Barolo. PnP. Should be consumed in the next 5 years. Tasty.

Rouge profond. Nez sur l épice la réglisse et les fruits noirs
Bouche ample en attaque Avec tres rapidement un creux et une finale floue et très légère. Le lendemain la finale est acqueuse. Nous sommes très très loin des vins référents de l appelation😒

Aromatic. Smooth.

A really solid Barolo. One of the best I've tried.
