Gorgeous mineral nose. Candied slate aromas and even a hint of vulcanized rubbers. Palate is clear as day with good mineral and sweet lime zest fruit on the finish. Not complex but just delicious.

Lyle Fass wine available via email. Clean and lean dry. Apple and a hint of peach works really well with Matjes Herring 'Sill Matjes' from IKEA the ultimate combo Riesling/Herring/Rustic Bread. This producer is getting better every year solid!

Pale golden color. Lemon zest, apple skin, honeysuckle. Super steely tart and astringent body. Welcome to the real thing.

So yesterday I had the Ellengruben alte Reben and today an entry level wine from Caspari. It's a great little quaffer. Very crisp and shock full of minerality some Quince interesting😊. Apply nose with hint of peach. As far as I remember it was a really good deal! I like this producer which is new to me. Very well done in a year which had its challenges. Looking forward to the 2015's.
